陈志勇的陈志勇[华裔画家] - 简介
陈志勇成长于澳大利亚西部柏斯市（Perth）的北边郊区。父亲为马来西亚华人，母亲为澳大利亚人。学校时就是画画高手。青少年时期就开始为科学小说画插图，也为小印量杂志中的恐怖故事配插图。1995年陈志勇毕业于华盛顿大学艺术系及英国文学系，专职童书插画。作品在美国和欧洲有广大读者，并多次在澳大利亚举办个人插画展。除绘本创作外，陈志勇还跟好莱坞知名动画公司蓝天工作室（Blue Sky Studios）与皮克斯动画工作室（Pixar）合作，担任动画片“荷顿奇遇记”（Horton Hears a Who）以及“瓦力”（Wall E）的造型顾问。
